MARIO VITALE LABRADOR
PRINCIPAL

Born in California, Mario Vitale Labrador began his ballet training at the Oakland Ballet Academy under the tutelage of Ronn Guidi, Founding Artistic Director of the Oakland Ballet. Since then, he has trained at numerous summer intensives, including the American Ballet Theatre of New York and the Bolshoi Ballet Academy of Moscow.

At the age of 19, he joined the famed Bolshoi Ballet Academy. There, he acquired a complete classical education in the Vaganova method, Character Dancing and Russian language. Mario graduated among the highest in his class and received a contract with The Mikhailovsky Ballet in St Petersburg. He moved back to the United States in 2016.

Mario has toured in various countries around the world including China, Japan, Italy, Greece and the United States. He has performed the lead roles in ballets such as Giselle, Swan Lake, Flames of Paris, Harlequinade, Paquita and La Fille Mal Gardée. Seeking new experiences and opportunities, he is excited and grateful to be joining Central West Ballet for its upcoming seasons.
